I lost three stripes between 71 and 74. Started again as an E-deuce. three weeks in "Minuteman" Training, (refresher BCT) and back into a line unit after a new AIT. Made buck5 again in thirteen months.

what burns my tailfeathers is that there are PLENTY of 'Nam Vets, older than me, still on active duty, and a lot who were called back, now "over there"...

I know local one who was enlisted (604th Trans Det/189th AHC, Holloway, 68/69) who was in the Army reserves, retired from it, and called back, made a CW3, and went a Long Way East.

Damn.
