I have met numerous Vietnamese here in this country who have approached me because of the stickers on my old RAM CHARGER (photo in 02 reunion photos). These people were super nice and really thankful for what we did for their country. I met and was invited to visit with three families from the Pleiku area in downtown Houston. They were wonderful people and they offered to talk to any veterans and even return to Vietnam as a guide in and around the Pleiku area.

Nostalgic for the area, the heat and the filth, no, but it would be nice to see that land again as a tourist. I would especially like to see Bein Hept where I crashed and was forced to land several times. I would love to do the trip while flying, but I think that flying would be beyond possibility.
