I was the aircraft commander of 66-16519 from May through the 1st of November 1968 when I took her to the ground during her last flight. What a mess. I took over the aircraft from none other than John Carrigan, "Irish" I think that he got the aircraft when it was first assigned to the unit. I think that the aircraft had 1628 hours on it +/- 10 when we hit the ground for the last time.
I flew 517 and 521 a couple of times as the senior Pilot in Command, and several times as the peter pilot during the March through May 68 timeframe.
