Thirty Nine years ago at midnight Camp Holloway was having a firefight with it self. The sky over the compound was lit with tracers all comming from within. People manning the control tower were forced to leave their post due to out going fire passing close to the tower. At least one aircraft in the pattern reported receiving fire from Holloway.

My how have things have changed. Last night we celebrated the New Year with neighbors and some small fireworks. Still can't get Nam out of my head. The memories are good but sometimes they need to take a back seat.
