While I was in the hospital getting treatment for my PTSD, I was introduced to an E-8 who was in the SF, who claimed to have learned how to fly a helicopter while he was in Vietnam, and he said that he transfered from the SF and stayed there for an additional eighteen months as a helicopter pilot, a W-1 no less. I reported this Imposter to the Staff in the section then took his information to the Regional Office to see how he had gotten into the treatment program in the VA. When we tried to look him up, he was a Vietnam ERA veteran, but he had never served in country. When I confronted him in front of the Staff the following Friday morning, he departed the hospital and hasn't been seen since. He was total BS, trying to get a disability.

The VA Regional Office now has his records on hold.
