Not quite sure which Dust-Off unit was working that day. That operation was being supportted by the 57th Assault Helicopter Company. Most of my unit were supportted the 1st Bde. at Dak To.
Gators 524 and 517 were loaned to help that day. We were called because of the trouble 524 got into.

I was still pretty new when this happened and at the time unfamilar with the area. I do remember working near LZ Swinger that day. The guy that was doing the play by play that day was pissed because we didn't have the troop seats aboard and he spent most of the time sharing my seat or sitting on the floor. War is hell.
