Number II

Since the release of my book, I have received many letters and e-mails from our brothers who were involved with Operation Wayne Grey and other operations in the Central HighLands. Many of these stories I would have loved to included in my book but did not receive them until after it was published.

After talking with Bob K. in that little bar on Veteran's Day I have been thinking about a second book. Over the past three years I have gone to several schools and other places and talked with and to jr. high and high school students. These young minds are very interested with this period in history. Many of their questions would blow your socks off. My thought is "What better source for these people then the actual accounts of the veterans who were there."

I have found from some of these talks, I should not limit the accounts to only combat related stories. The every day life in a combat zone can also produce an insight which should be told.

Just looking for some of your thought about this. The trouble with history is that it is written and then edited before the final product is seen. As the years past, many account are lost with the passing of our brothers and sisters that actual lived through that time.

Let me know what you think and some ideas as to put this together.
