Al, I don't care one way or the other; no reason to. I don't go to movies in theaters anyway, and if it's a subject or plot I don't care to watch, I just don't rent it or buy the tape or the DVD.

If they would just go their own way and let me go mine, I'm a happy guy. It's when they start calling me names, "sending me messages," or forcing themselves into my face that I get a little testy. Upset about film awards? Who the hell cares? They can give each other all the awards they want; it won't affect me, and I probably won't even know about it, except by mistake.

I don't know any cowboys and if I did I wouldn't care what they did out "on the range" as long as it didn't affect my Stop & Shop ribeyes. Mess with the sirloin supply, then we got a problem, big one.

Had a couple of the boys living next door to me a couple of years ago, nice guys, no problems. Nice neighbors. Then one afternoon they decided to do some "sychronized swimming" in the lake in front of the house. We had a talk, and they never did it again.

Wouldn't have made any difference to me whether it was boy-boy, boy-girl, or girl-girl, what they were doing wasn't appropriate. I didn't want to see it, and I didn't want my wife and kids to have to see it. (The boys moved out a few months later, then I bought the house, and then I bulldozed it. No more problems.)
