I do believe the basic effects of blizzards can be compared to hurricanes. Having experienced more than one of both, I do believe I'm qualified
to speak on the subject. Considering New Orleans,
I guess we should consider it the responsibility of the Fed to take care of every blizzard. Those in the northeast are entitled to at least as much
as those in New Orleans. After all, they too are blue states. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I mean the Fed had to have known the storm was coming. I'm sure they had ample warning and should have evacuated the entire northeast. Where
was FEMA during all this? We should spend at least 2 or 3 hundred million to figure that out. In the words of Forest Gump, "Life's like a box of chocolates."
