In Texas, under the law, If a person is taking your property,after dark, you can use deadly force to stop the thief. Goes back to when theft of your food or live stock could cause YOU to die. Anyway, a few caps have been popped on local thugs and a lot of home invasions have stopped. Hell they do not have to be IN your home, they can be ON your property or leaving your property with your goods after official sunset and they're dogmeat.
