I prefer the Mexican One-"Man" Jail-

I have an old friend, Jose Juan G. ("Pepe") whose grandfather, at the distant end of the previous century, was Governor of the Mexican Federal District (like our states) of Chihuahua; the small town of Ciudad Chihuahua was rampant with crime, from petty to horrendous...

El Jefe decided that the malcontents weren't learning from their incarceration, in that when released, they were into everytyhing, and right back in there.

So, he released them all, regardless of their crimes. Tore the jail down. Built a new one, about the size of what became known as a phone booth (do we still have these?)

The first time a perp was found guilty of ANY infraction, he went in.... when the second perp met the same "end", they took the first guy out and hung him, to make room for the second occupant..

Problem was, a hapless soul could be in for a minor crime, and some other boob does the same thing, and Perp #1 hangs for it..

End of problem.... or so Pepe's story goes.

back to the issue- child molesters deserve slow and merciless death.
