: What are we coming to a police state?

There's a long way from where we are today and a police state. Protecting our borders does not make us bad guys. If you want to come to America, do it legally. Not wanting to do something legally, is never an excuse to do it illegally... If getting you to do it legally means threatening you with being shot, so be it. We enforce a lot of laws that way.

Where have you been ? We have spent more federal money on these issues than has EVER been spent before.

"do nothing Bush" ? I missed what it is you do for a living Larry. It must be considerable if your evaluation of Bush is that he is "doing nothing". Your comparison for that is what ?
