Nobody needs to apologize for anything, Tom, and we are all free to express any opinions or viewpoints we want. Those opinions and viewpoints should be received and responded to in a civil manner whether we agree with them or not.

My opinion in this situation is that some subjects are not appropriate for this forum because they do more harm than good. There are plenty of other places on the Internet to rant about whatever anybody wants to rant about.

I have seen several similar forums, really good ones, self-destruct. It always starts with a lack of civility, then phony screen names instead of real names, then the flame wars, and then it's over. Not suggesting that it would, but I would hate to see that happen here; we are the ones who need to see that it does not happen here.

That is my opinion. If anybody thinks my opinion is garbage, that's fine also. So far, I don't think I will require any help from the Troops.
