I too have a bunch of memories from Laos and Cambodia, beautiful countryside with double and tripple canopy forests, streams with rushing water, beautiful pinnacles, and cliffs that will knock your socks off, and then having to pull the SF out of those trees on the McGuire rig. The thought of hovering straight up with six people hanging on four ropes wasn't bad, but the sound of snap, crackle and pop and an occasional swoosh scared the bejesus out of me. Ya gotta keep going straight up, talking to the crew in the rear for guidance and listening to their comments about all of the gunfire and occasional rockets. Not fun!!!
