Seems like their has been lots of activity on the sight in my absence. Got back from North Dakota last evening and I can say it was a long trip but I would not have missed it. Mike Kendall was a good friend and he will be missed. We did not serve in the same area "In Country". I met Mike and his wife Sheila at a VHCMA Reunion in Charlotte, NC the year 2000 and we just hit it off. We have been friends ever since, meeting each year at the reunions and on several occasions spending time on vacation riding the National Parks out west.

Mike will be missed but "NEVER FORGOTTEN" The memories of our times together will always be with me. Mike was the kind of guy you would trust with your life, Bronze Star with "V", Air Medal with "V", 3 Purple Hearts, 175th AHC Door Gunner 2 tours. The Man up stairs will have a hard time keeping Mike in line, he never colored inside the lines.
