Well, it looks as though they already knew about 38 USCODE section 5301. They just haven't thrown it into the face of the Judge and the Legal system the way I did in a case in Houston, TX. I got my guy off, even though his attorney was a total idiot. I provided a bound copy of the law to the judge and asked that he provide the information that said he was allowed to force payment from a Veterans Benefit.
