Makes no difference, he'll still win the election. The CT Republicans put up some clueless jerk named Schlesinger. Next thing you know, somebody finds out he's been gambling at the indian casinos under an assumed name. The jackass says, "No big deal, I never lost more than 10 Grand. At a time." Great way to get votes from folks trying to afford groceries. Then it comes out that he's got markers all over Atlantic City for ten or twenty Grand apiece, some of which they are still trying to collect. He's done.

So, in November, Lamont takes half or so of the Democrat votes, Schlesinger takes half or so of the Republican votes, and our weasel pal Lieberman goes back to DeeCee as an "Independent."
