That was my second day as a CE with the 119th, Dobbs was may AC but I can't remember who was PP or Gunner. We were in the same AO when the shit hit the fan. I know a lot of enemy bit the dust that day. Rounds were flying every where. That was my introduction to Hot LZ's and the Central Highlands it was also the first time I ever fired a 60 and certainly not the last. It was quiet in the Hooch that night but the beer flowed freely.

I still get chills thinking about it. Willie you are right, some days never go away.
