Re: Book about SOG
In Response To: Book about SOG ()

SOG is a great read, from the perspective of someone (me) who only heard about such intense places and events... I'd think that a lot of the content might awaken some demons.

I've got mine, even as a stay-behind.

Doc often humbly asks, especially of our current- day Warriors.. "where do we get these men"..or words closely to that effect. I haven't had the presence of mind / nerve to tell him face-to-face that ...Hell.. you're one of 'em, Thank God.

the call of the trumpet...

I struggled for a bit with my own feelings of being accepted here, as I felt I was just a support weenie, but not any more, Thanks! I'm very comfy with it now.

We all have had our trials and tribulations, to one degree or another, and many with frightful intensity and frequency... and many came out well.

I'm beginning to (or continuing to) ramble...
:)
