I sat in traffic for hours, two lanes wide, bikes three wide in each lane just trying to get the three miles from Sturgis to Glencoe in 2005. The rest of the people were trying to get to a concert at the Buffalo chip. Many dropped off at the Full Throttle Saloon, because they were already too late for the concert. There were a lot of air cooled bikes along the side of the road that had overheated. There were 575,000 bikes in Sturgis that year.
