Support the warrior

During the Vietnam war I remember only two kinds of folks, those who supported the war and those who didn't. We did not have the term "anti-victory" then. It was "pro war" and be a war monger or support the anti war reds and be anti victory for the USA. Now there is a new film that has, as a part of it's thesis, 'Hate the war- Support the warrior". Look at the new incarnation. And this one is from our "friends".
Listen as the donut dolly narriator says she hated the war but supported the warrior. Even as her dad and brothers were there.
I do NOT ever recall meeting a DD who said she was against the war but supported the warrior. They were heroes then and are now. And they supported us 100%.. and never, to my knowledge, uttered an anti war statement. By the standards of the day most of them used words that shocked us when talking about the anti war "kooks" in the USA. I love the concept but the Hollywood types making the movie need to think about what they're trying to project. "Hate the war but support the warrior" my ass. Any statement like that is anti US and anti-victory.. they just don't have the balls to say it.
