I got this PM this morning from a NPS Police bat-herder- a guy who was a GREAT help to the effort for us:

Despite what anyone in our liberal media may say about the antiwar groups and the people that showed up for their cause, there can be no comparision to the numbers of vets and the passion displayed on March 17th. Probably the most memorable quote I heard was made by a vet who was thanking a policeman.He said, "thank you for being here, you saved alot of hippies from getting their asses kicked." With the intensity displayed there and camaraderie I would say he was right.

Stay safe, keep in touch and rest assured that those great monuments to our vets our brother and sisters in arms are always under careful guard.
