Virginian Suites is a good place to stay. There are at least two restaurants close by and the Memorials are just across the bridge (5 minutes from the hotel). They discount for a number of things, including AAA. Should be around the $110.00 or less rate, per night...

For you southern boys, be advised this ain't Texas.... November is a bit on the cold side and while I'm all in for a two wheeled rumble around DC, VA, MD, ya'll better have some long johns in your bags or those extremities might never work right again...

Tom, if you strike out with Virginian Suites, you might also try the Hyatt in Crystal City. I'll be staying there this month for Rolling Thunder and with the discount we got, the rates are actually better than I can get with Virginian Suites. Nice Hotel, Bar down stairs etc.... about 15 minutes from the Memorials. The Virginian Suites had the kitchen in the rooms which I don't think the Hyatt does so that may be a factor... Nice to have a sink, fridge and Microwave etc. available....
