One of the convenient things about having the permit at home and one in Florida is that it meets the Federal "peaceable journey" law conditions. It allows you to legally transport your (unloaded and secured) hardware through states that do not normally permit transport on the condition that you are traveling from one place where you can legally carry to another place where you can legally carry. Done deal.
