The UH-1E was fairly easy to recognize. It had a pilot operated rescue hoist located over the right cockpit. It was stowable. (I don't know if they left it on when they made it a gun ship). It also had an 110v 400Cycle AC electrical system as the primary electrical system.
Other that that it was just a heavier B model used primarily by the Marines and the Seawolf Squadron as a gun platform before they got some Cobras.
