Speaking of reunions, Pat Kelly recently returned from Alabama with a reunion with some of the 3-12 grunts who were on Gator 207 when it was shot down 40 years ago, 26 Feb 1968.
About 10 years ago, Pat asked me to post a message in the 4th ID Guestbook, stating that he was looking for anyone from the 3-12 who was on Gator 207 when it was shot down and battled their way out of the bomb crater along with the grunts from the first ship.
Anyway, about 4 weeks ago, I got an email from a 3-12 guy saying he was on Pat's ship and wanted his phone number, as they were having a Company reunion down in Alabama. Needless to say, a good time was had by all.
