It was a little bit of both and it backfired on me. I had the bikes loaded in the trailer and off we went early Wednesday morning before the rooster got up. Well about 12 miles away from home on the Florida Turnpike the right trailer tire blew. I spent the next hour changing it in the dark with traffic flying by at 70 + mph. Considering the fact that both tires were the same age and I was now down to no spare common sense said take the trailer and the bikes home. I did just that and will get new tires and a new spare as well as replace the wheel bearings. The trailer has been all over the US north, south, east and west not sure how many miles but it time for some maintenance. Did I mention that the tire took the fender off the trailer also.

We still made it to the Keys and cooked Thanksgiving dinner for Lorraine's dad and 3 other single guys. Had a great time with temps in the mid 70's. We got home yesterday and all is well. We are planing a second trip to the Keys in January with the bikes and I expect the weather up your way will be even cooler. With any luck things will go much better.
