Got two calls today wishing me a merry Christmas. One from Bob Edmond, a great AC from the 119th. I told him about this site and invited him to log in and say hello. The other call was my contact with Calvin Bohannon. After swapping war stories a bit, I found he was the brave man riding in the back the day I hit the wire south of uplift. I told you it took courage to to ride in the back with me driving. Damned near ruined his aircraft. we had to re-shim the sync elevator after the wire (8 strands of platted commo wire) got snagged in it and pulled it over half an inch out of true. Lucky Charlie did not attach explosives to it.I also have some updates on phone numbers for Huey's roster. will forward them soon.
