I remember the new years of 66-67. we must have fired half the basic load that night. I watched it start near Mang Yang pass and move toward Holloway, One tiny camp after another firing tracers into the air. And then Holloway went off. A Fighter taking off from Pleiku airbase called and asked why he was receiving fire from Holloway and supposedly the tower replied "We're celebrating the transfer of the Caribou". Anyway, the old man chewed a lot of ass over that night. Happy new years brothers. We survived.
