Matt Burgett returned my phone call Saturday around 2:00PM. It's been 42 years since we've talked to each other. Back when we were Soldiers and Young!! For those who have not been following the message traffic, Matt and I flew for Maj. Nelson prior to me going over to the Crocs.

He loves Idaho and his spirits are up-- even fighting ALS - as he says "He's lived a good life and proud to have served his country in the Military and as a Policeman". Over the weekend I found some old photos of some of the guys at Holloway in 67, etc. I even found the words to a song from back then "Flying North out of old Pleiku" I 'm not sure who wrote it but I remember a couple warrant officers singing it.
I'm going to copy and send to him.
His brother Tony - the Vet that flew with us on occaisions is retired in PA.

He mentioned Bob Kilpatick's name (Bob sent him a coin and patch)and said he was a "nice guy".

Thanks to our resident Detective Lumpy, I now have a name and number for who we "think" is Maj Nelson's son who lives outside Ft. Rucker!!
