This years VHCMA Reunion in Reno was a record breaker in spite of the economy. Total attendance was over 550. Attendance by 119th Gators and Crocs was also the largest I can remember.

Being in charge of the entire affair did not leave me much time to socialize but the goal is for every attendee to have a positive experience. We had 50 + new people that met veterans they have not seen in over 40 years and that in it self is worth every hour of lost sleep.

The 2010 reunion will be in Atlanta, GA at the Westin Atlanta Airport. I have already been in contact with the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation in Atlanta and the plan is to take everyone that wants to go flying on fully restored military UH-1's. You can look them up on the internet and view the choppers. Other activities during the reunion are: Friday evening social hour, Golf Tournament on Thursday, Saturday night Banquet with raffle prizes and a 505/50 drawing. This years winner of the 50/50 took home over $900.00. Where else can you go and win cash, drink beer, and tell lies with other Vietnam Rotor heads. If this sounds like a commercial it is but we make no money from the reunion. The VHCMA is a 501C-19 not for profit organization. Every thing we do is for the members.
