I may have been a PIA but I had several years of flight line experience thanks to a tour in the USAF and I was pretty well trained as a Non Com thanks to a tour in the Army as an Infantryman (MOS 11c3(n)) so it might be I was just making sure you guys were trained to do stuff the right way. I don't remember being CS or playing favorites (I had spent too long enlisted for that)and I swapped a lot of stuff for tools and food for my troops and gave my liquor ration to the exceptional performers on occasion. Also you might have confused Discipline for CS. Some of the draftees were not happy campers and yes I put a boot up their ass on occasion-) And Tom, I don't ever recall giving you a hard time. I respected you and knew it was your plane. And Ol' Willie helped me on more than one occasion.
