Ya' know Mix,
I can wear 4 different Avn Co. Patches but claim no fame or unusual metals out of the ordinary. As did several other of my 119th Bros., I did have the wonderful opportunity to go points west and due to having a hydraulic leak at Dak To and not being able to take off with the flight, did manage to get tha' Huey repaired and we caught up with tha' flight while mission was in progress and fell in on a shot up gunship. Who it was I have no clue and when they were going down we fell in on their 6. They landed in tall elephant grass and we got them on board and got the hell outta' there. Anyway, we had no claim to glory, just got our guys out. Hell, I don't even remember tha' AC, Peter Pilot or even my gunner. Ain't that some S--t!! Anyway, I sometime don't understand people, their rationale or the desire to want to belong to something so bad that they would fabricate the things that they say and do. Have a "Great Day" Mix!!
