Thanks for stirring it up.
The 4th had two Cav units assigned to it, D Troop, 1/10 Cav (Shamrocks) and the 7/17 Cav (Yellow Scarves).
Tom B. said that I could probably find exactly which ship it was from the 1-22 radio logs. Unfortunately, of the couple of thousand pages of radio logs I've accumulated, I don't have those from 21 Sep, 69.
Maybe one of these days.
