Now the woman's report:
Sharyl had to miss most of the week due to work. Called to say she arrived home to find the air conditioning was off and wouldn't be fixed for a couple of days. Guess she would have stayed if she had advance warning on that! Unfortunately we didn't see much of her as Jim B was busy taking up her time.

It was nice to meet Donna, John's wife. Couldn't have done the salads, etc. without her help. When they left, some kind soul had shut and locked Dave's gate, so she had to walk a couple of miles down the hot gravel road to the house to get a key. Good thing she keeps in good shape!

Babs was there, as always, and prepared for problems. Offered to do a little free surgery on Mr T. but he declined.

Was disappointed Jim S. didn't bring Christy but am sure she got a nice respite while he brought some of the family with him.

Lupita, Paul's wife, came in from Clarksville. Was gonna make us all a big batch of her famous tortillas but managed to take a good fall at work. However, we visited her a few times at the local restaurant where she works. (Of course, we ate, too)

Pappy taught me to fly cast. This was exciting as have always wanted to do that. Was disappointed not to catch any fish but we seemed to hit the time of day when they all sleep or something. Can hardly wait to go try fishing here.

Bob T tested his rifle on the trash can across the field. Made a bunch of little holes in it. Dave promised to teach me to shoot a gun and change the brakes but we ran out of play time.

Was great to put a face with the famous Deacon, Pappy, and Bon Bon that I've heard all about. Gil showed us his collection of gorgeous Indian jewelry he makes. Hope he brings some for sale at the next reunion.
