Talked to my pal Hoxie today, Mark. Most home jobs are done these days with the snap-lock variety, works just as well as crimp, just fine, and easier installation for typical residential jobs. He says most crimp jobs these days are the larger, commercial installations. He also mentioned that you can measure the job carefully and they will precut almost everything and deliver to your site. Sign me up for that method.
