Just thought I would pass along some info that may help some of you who need to request records or make changes.

I finally got off my ass and started looking into what I needed to do to get my DD-214 straightened out... I found that the NPRC (National Personnel Records Center) now has an online records request process. You don't actually get your records online, but it does allow you to shave a few days off the process by getting your request in a little more quickly. Naturally, you still wait the default 25 weeks for them to process the request.....

Now, unfortunately, the process for change is still the same. I was able to download the required forms from the NPRC site but you still must fill them out and send them in via snail mail with your supporting documentation. Mine went in this past week, we will see how long it takes to get the first response......
