Below is one place to start to request his records, Jerry. As next-of-kin, you can request copies, I think. Some of the other guys around here may know more about the process. Keep at it, and you'll get plenty of help if you need it.

It seems to me I heard that if you make it a Freedom-of-Information request, there is no charge for the service. I don't think you can get the entire 201 file, but they will send you the important service history information from the file.

Also, if you stay in touch on this site, there is a fairly good chance that someone will pop up when you least expect it with more infomation than you ever expected to find.
