I get the butt when I hear "Sir" directed at me from a soldier... as Dad (1SG, USA, Ret- until he'd been retired five years, and then it was 1LT, USA, Ret) used to say- "don't call me 'Sir'- I WORK for a livin'".

Marines are the worst about it...
