PURPLE HEART

I just received a letter from the Military Order of the Purple Heart that stated the following The VETERANS MILLENIUM VA HEALTH CARE ACT, Public Law 106-117 authorizes all veterans who have the purple heart to recieve medical care from the Veterans Administration Hospital whether they have a service connected disability or not. The PH recipient would be in primary care group 3, which authorizes all medical care. All prescription medicines would be provided by the VA for all veterans with a 50% service connected disability or greater, those who are not service connected would have to pay a $2 co-pay for each prescription medication.

I hope that this helps someone.
