I am Louie's wife Bonnie. I come to this site many times a day and perhaps it isn't my place to voice my opion but I had to do this one.I started writing Louie when he went to Vietnam in 1967 and we married in 1969. We will be married 37 years this Saturday. Perhaps it was both the their faults for the ending of the marriage.That's not for me to say but marriage is not always a bed of roses and it is hard for both parties a lot of times.Marriage is built between the husband and wife and what they build together they can share but she wasn't the one that risk her life and went through hell day after day with all the things they went through and to come home and relive the horrable memories day after day and night after night and try to maintain ones sanity. I try to ease my husband's pain the best I can but the ones who truly understand it is the ones(Veterans) that was over there.They fought and paid dearly and a lot is still paying a price that will last the rest of their lives.He or any one else that has fought should not have to pay again.
