I just returned from the 35th Infantry reunion. The honored guest was a LOH pilot from Bde who pulled out our wounded. There wasn’t much of an LZ, with the little C4 available they blew as many of the huge mahogany trees as they could. The LOH dropped down and couldn’t land so he balanced one of the skids on the fallen mahogany trees and loaded the wounded.

The recognition of this pilot reflects on the 119th and all the other helicopter units who supported us. Thanks for all you did to support us.
