I am a day late on this and for that I apologize.

On August 24th, 1967 Gator 66-12526 went down in the Se San River about 15 miles southwest of the city of Kontum. They were flying in support of Operation Paul Revere IV.

Crew Chief SP4 Richard M. Allard & Door Gunner SP4 Ronald L. Holtzman were listed as Missing in Action. Their names are on "THE WALL" in Washington DC but to this day their remains have not been returned. They are Missing in Action.

Ron was my Door Gunner for several months and a better Person & Gunner could not be found. I miss him and think about him often.

Richard was less familiar to me but I have fond memories of him.

We will not "Forgett You".

I now know why I was a little out of step yesterday. The FIRST LADY even said I seemed distant and short tempered.
