In Response To: Re: REUNION - PHOTO ALBUM ()

Mark, Gail, Steve, and Kathy,

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all that you did during the reunion and all that you and your family have done for the unit in the past. I had a blast at the reunion, thank you for having us there.

Steve, it was a pleasure meeting you, thank you for all of the yeoman labor that you did to make the reunion possible. It seems as though you were the chief cook and bottle washer for all of us lazy old folks. You even led excursions through the woods for several of us. I am looking forward to seeing you at future reunions, maybe you can have some fun without having to work so hard.

Kathy, thanks for being there and giving me a chance to know you, and thanks for bringing all of the lobsters, they were fantastic. I hope that you will make it to future reunions, the guys and I thought that you were great.

Gail, I finally got to meet you, and you were not as tough as you came across on the site. You were just a real sweetie that all of us loved to have with us. Another little sister to the bunch. Thanks for all that you did to make the reunion a success.

Mark, there just aren't enough words of thanks for what you did. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the reunion. Thank you for all that you and your family did to make the reunion a success. It was fabulous and it really was a good setting for all of us to be able to get together in to revive old memories, and to find out about each other. Thanks.

I have finally made it home and finally got around to the site to say hello again and thanks to all for being there. I got home in the late afternoon on Monday 25 September, man what a trip.

My travels are over for a while. I started on 28 July, covered 8104 miles on my truck, 1532 miles on my bike, 28 nights in my tent, 1 night in the front seat of my truck, 10 nights in the home of friends, 7 nights in a resort in Texas, 8 nights in rented facilities, and 5 nights on my farm. WOW, what a blast I have had in that period of time! Sturgis South Dakota, Cripple Creek Colorado, visiting Don Martin (Croc 6)in Seminole Oklahoma, the farm, Silverleaf Resort, the farm, Bob Kilpatrick's home and the reunion, visiting Bill Paul in Cincinatti Ohio, then on to the V-Rod Homecoming, and finally visiting with Paul & Viv Schmidt in Springfield, MO. This has been a summer to remember, and that only includes the last 58 days.

The most memorable part was being with my brothers and sisters at the reunion and chatting with each of them. I am looking forward to next summer, I think that I will have a hard time matching this year's fun.

Dave
