I had just gotten back home, I was medivac'ed and I knew nothing of the loss of Marty and his crew until I recieved the letter that accompanied the plaque that the unit sent me. The letter was a crushing blow to me, I can not explain the hurt that I felt. The unit had been so lucky the entire year that I was there, learning of the loss of Marty and his crew just took the wind right out of me.

You know that he was loved, you have the same brothers that he did in our family on this site. Thank you for being you.
