Billy and I stay at the Virginian Suites every year during Rolling Thunder. Pretty sure we will be doing the same thing this year. It is about 5 minutes from the Wall and right next to the Iwo Jima Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. Not a bad little restaurant right up the street. Last year I waited until mid Feb to reserve our rooms, and I almost didn't get one. This year will be worse.

Keep in mind with the campgrounds during Memorial Day weekend.... There are a lot of clubs staying on those grounds. Some good, some not so good. If you're not "prepared" I wouldn't recommend it.
