Museum Reply

I received the following message from themuseum treasurer.
BT
"Bob, It's all set up and ready to go. Been doing it for several years. Anyone who sends money for a specific cause needs to identify that cause when the funds are sent. We can accept donations online through the gift shop, by mail, or even in person. We are a 501(c)(3) so of course it is all tax deductible.

There are two problems to be resolved by the unit:
1) How long will the donations be coming in...there has to be a cutoff point (we recommend one year as the maximum)
2) What should be done if the goal is not met. Once the museum accepts the donation it is diificult and expensive to return it. If hte goal is $1500 and we get $2000, we keep the extra. But if only $1000 is sent, then who does what to whom.
Thanks for all your support out there. You know the 119th is also raising funds for the Pleiku wall to be built at the museum site?"
jim"

Wonder who it is? I will contribute to both.
