Well, I talked myself into buying a 30' toy hauler. It is a Springdale model 290CT, it has a full bedroom in the back with a queen sized bed, the center section has a 16' slide out that makes the trailer 12' wide when open, then the toy box in the front holds two bikes and it opens to the right side. The door is the ramp to the toy box. The toy box has a door that separates it from the rest of the trailer. When there are no toys in the trailer, it has a fold down queen sized bed. Two additional people can sleep in the slide out section, the sofa converts to a single bed, and the dining table lowers and that area can be converted to a bed. The trailer has a bath with sink and shower, and a full kitchenette. I thought it was nice for the $19K that it cost. Not particularly fond of the toy box in the front, but I can survive it.

It is a bumper pull trailer so I can leave the back of my truck open for hauling bikes and such.

I guess that you might say that I let my son talk me into it.

It has gotten me to thinking though, I have planned at least a half dozen trips for it for the remainder of this year. Guess I am getting old, now wanting to camp in comfort.
