Does anyone remember a black kid (Gunner) Named Martin (from alabama I think) and a crew chief named Biggerstaff? They were the crew in back the day I thought I was going to die with the Keystone cops. Gary Finch was the AC. We fired one round on a combat assault because we'd gotten in late the night before and left for LZ Uplift before daylight. the guns we not cleaned and malfunctioned. The assault was near the coast north of Qui Non in early 67. Later we had the damnedest laugh about it all and the circumstances. I was a new MO and flying co pilot with the company to build time. I've often thought of them.
