Every year on Memorial Day weekend my family visits the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. For some reason we never questioned what has been listed on the headstone as my brothers awards. Maybe someone here can tell us what they mean. I am thinking that AM = Air Metal, but it is listed as AM & 8, what does the 8 stand for? Also what does OLC mean?
